Vice Chair of the Romanian-American Foundation’s Board of Trustees
Mihai Tudor is the Vice Chair of the Romanian American Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Mr. Tudor is an electrical engineer and ICT professional with considerable executive management experience, including over 25 years of practice in the local and international IT&C industry. His professional record includes several executive management positions, in Romania and internationally, in a number of industries: Aeronautics/Electrical, R&D Electronics/Automation, Information Technology, Software Development, Telecommunications, and Energy. His most recent position was that of CEO with Energobit in Cluj Napoca. Previously, Mr. Tudor was the General Manager for South-East Europe at IBM. In addition to RAF, Mr. Tudor serves on the boards of Junior Achievement Romania and United Way Romania; he is also a former member of the AmCham Romania Board of Directors. As a Leadership Donor, giver and volunteer, he takes on opportunities to help those in need. He contributed ideas and experience to developing policies around the education-technology innovation-research triangle and towards entrepreneurship and community development initiatives. He wrote a number of technical, special interest and strategic intent articles and volunteered with talent development organizations by sharing his personal, professional and management experiences with young professionals and managers. Mr. Tudor graduated Electrical Engineering in Craiova and subsequently was awarded a Certificate in Business Administration in Australia and an MBA in Great Britain. He has been married since 1984 and has a son. He practices skiing, golf and enjoys chess, music and movies.
