Ana is an associate professor at the Academy of Economic Studies, Department of International Business and Economics, Bucharest, with significant academic experience in the fields of international services economics, creative industries and the intangible economy, international finance.
She has authored three books and published over 80 papers in refereed international journals. She has coordinated academic research projects and acted as expert for UNCTAD, PHARE, OECD and EU projects.
Ana has 18 years experience in asset management and investment advisory. She is currently a partner with CEFS and chairs the Investment Committee of a private equity fund with a focus on Romanian SMEs, principally reviewing and advising on investment decisions.
She has held directorships for a number of leading companies in Romania and Serbia; she has extensive board-level experience with policy and strategy drafting, implementing corporate governance good practices, institutional and business development, risk management procedures, as well as business restructuring experience as representative in agriculture, food and retail, construction material, distribution, transportation, real estate, financial services.
She holds a PhD in international business and economics from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.
